FarPoint Technologies, and the InputPro for Silverlight team are proud to announce the Preview of our first Silverlight product - InputPro for Silverlight. Based the Quality Bands introduced with the Silverlight Toolkit, InputPro for Silverlight is well within the Preview Band for features and quality, and we are now at the point in the production cycle where we can no longer develop in a bubble so please let us know what you think. We need your feedback to direct us, and to let us know how these components stack up from functionality and usability perspectives.

FarPoint Welcomes Fred to the New FarPoint Labs��

We have created a new area on the FarPoint website for labs. And first into the labs is Fred. Fred is a collaborative spreadsheet application featuring our Spread for ASP.NET product. Come take a look at the power of our Spread for ASP.NET product by working with Fred. You will need to create an account (Username and Password) to log on. But then have fun. You can now take classes on FarPoint Spread products! Several customers have asked and now we are offering them. In April of 2008, TakeNote was selected as an official training partner for FarPoint Technologies. Initially TakeNote is offering hands-on, instructor-led classes for Spread for Windows Forms 4.0 and Spread for Web Forms 3.0 here in the RTP, NC location.Future plans are to offer these classes across the U.S. and on-line. If coming to one of these classes is not an option for your organization, TakeNote can come to you and offer these classes onsite.

We have secured June dates for those companies who are looking for training in FarPoint Spread products.

FarPoint Releases Updates to .NET Products��

We have released updates to our newest .NET products,
FarPoint Spread for Windows Forms and FarPoint Spread for Web Forms (both version 2.5).
These updates are available for download on the Updates page on Tech Support site.
There are versions for the 1.x .NET framework (VS2002/2003) and 2.0 .NET framework (VS2005).
Also, the latest online docs are available at the Support site as well . Coming soon are even more features in the 3.0 versions of these products, and these are currently in beta.

The Webcast introduces FarPoint Spread for BizTalk, a BizTalk pipeline disassembler that takes incoming Excel XLS data streams, and parses them into XML that maps to a schema created at design time in Visual Studio 2005.
